David Cruz has more than 35 years of experience in retail store operations, sales, marketing, merchandising, inventory management, brand management, procurement, market research, new business development, regulatory compliance, and supply chain management.
David plays a key role in onboarding new Brangea clients and helping them establish and strengthen their Walmart and Sam’s Club relationships.
David works with clients who are new to Walmart or Sam’s Club to help them complete all of the paperwork they need to become an approved vendor. He is also an expert in optimizing product postings on Walmart.com for items available online or in stores. And for clients interested in presenting their products for Walmart’s Made in the USA program, David assists with all aspects of the program’s application and approval process.
In addition to his extensive background in retail store operations, David has hands-on experience in the meat market environment. He is a Master Butcher, learning his craft from his father at their family’s butcher shop and meat market in Houston, Texas.
Prior to joining Brangea, David worked for Harvest Natural Market, David’s Fine Meats & Grill, Walmart, HEB Grocery Co., Groceryworks.com, and Randalls.
